Why do you teach kids money management?
Our market research has shown that kids are not taught
about money at school. We have also found that parents
have the best intentions, but often don’t have
the time or the skills to teach their children about
money. Our courses teach kids great money management
skills so that they are able to prosper in the global
economy.
Who takes your training courses?
Our seminars are designed for kids ages 11-16. Parents
accompany their kids to our seminars and take a concurrent
seminar. The adult concurrent seminar is designed
differently than the kid’s seminar, and there
are opportunities during the seminar to participate
together. We take a ‘whole family’ approach
with our clients, and offer a family rate for your
whole family to attend. What we know is that when
families learn together, there is a higher rate of
learning and shared successes once your return home
and put money management skills into practice.
What’s the difference between the Kids Ride
to Riches seminars and webinars?
We know that your life is jam-packed. Most people
don’t have much time these days, so we created
two different learning environments to fit any schedule.
At Kids Ride to Riches, we offer live seminars as
well as live and pre-recorded webinars. Live seminars
occur in the Toronto area and webinars are online
learning environments that come to you. We recommend
that our clients and members take a live seminar and
follow-up this learning with regular webinars.
How do I register me and my kids for a seminar?
Registering for our seminars is easy. Click on the
‘Seminars’

Now.’ Complete the online registration form
and submit it, or print the page and fax in your registration.
You can also call us and register over the phone.
Who designs your training seminars for kids?
Sarah Jane Meharg, Ph.D. is our lead educator and
facilitator. Dr. Meharg is trained in both pedagogy
(education of children) and andogy (education of adults)
and leads our facilitation team.
My child took one of your seminars. What products
should I buy to help her continue developing money
management skills?
Money management is a life skill, and skills need
to be practiced over and over again to keep them current
and useful. Our seminars teach techniques to children
that they can start to use as soon as our course is
over. It is important to create an environment in
which your child can practice their skills after our
course is over. We recommend that you and your child
take a webinar together and read our money manual
regularly. In addition, you and your family should
spend time with other like-minded families, and Kids
Ride to Riches provides the perfect environment to
do just that – our Private Club. By becoming
a member of the Private Club, your child will continue
developing money management skills for life.
Where can I find out about your other products,
like the Private Club?
Click on the ‘Products’
link on this page and you will be taken to our online
catalogue of products. You will find all the information
you need to make an informed decision about your family’s
education.
